Terry Lynn Stoll

Terry Lynn Stoll, age 74, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Born on October 1, 1949, Terry was a lifelong resident of Sylvania, establishing her career and raising her family there. Terry worked as a bus driver for Sylvania Schools for 23 years. Many of her students still have fond memories of their time with her as their driver.

Terry married the love of her life, Donald Stoll, on December 9, 1969. They were married for 48 years until Don’s passing in 2018. Together they raised three children.

Terry was kind, caring, and most of all giving. She would not turn down anyone in need. Terry was loved by all who knew her. Although she enjoyed time at home, she still reached out to others and developed close friendships with her neighbors. Terry enjoyed going to the casino with her husband and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved her cat, Tigger.

Terry is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Stoll Sr.; parents, Thomas and Hazel Townsend; daughter-in-law, Jill Stoll; granddaughter, Sarah Stoll; closest brother, Tom Townsend; and several other siblings. She is survived by her children, David (Jean) Townsend, Grant Stoll, and Don (Laura) Stoll Jr.; grandchildren, Ben Townsend, Nick Stoll; and siblings, Kathy (David) Beckmann, Mark (Gina) Townsend.

Friends and family are invited to visit at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623, on Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 10 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
