Terry W. Roberts

My best friend and loving husband, Terry W. Roberts, passed unexpectedly at our home Wednesday December 4, 2013. Son of the late Wesley and Anna Louise Schrade Roberts, Terry attended Macomber High School and worked at The Blade as a technician and in the prepress department for 43 years. Terry was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Being one half of The Roberts twins, Terry Garey as well as their sister Sharon, shared the love and passion for cars from their teens unto this day! Terry was instrumental in the founding of Toledo Area Street Rods and traveled with family and friends, Kicking tires all the way sharing many experiences and good times! Terry is survived by his loving wife of 39 years and best friend, Georgia Case Roberts; sister, Sharon Roy Young; brother, Garey Alice Roberts. He loved and enjoyed his children, Rick Shannon Roberts, DeAnna Jim Jensen, Jim Cynthia Crowley, Patti Fred Lopez and Mischelle Tim Wilson. His grandchildren were his biggest pride and joy, Kelsey Zach DePompei, Reagan Alexandra Roberts; Kaitlin Kyle Jakubowski; Dani, Sami Doug Jensen; Ian, Gunnar Reegan Crowley; Lexi Lopez; Kirsten Gary Sibley, and Dakota Wilson along with great-grandchildren Sammie Jo Jensen and Ryder Sibley. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 3-8 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Avenue west of Corey Rd. where services to celebrate Terrys life will begin at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, December 8, 2013. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
