Terry Lee Mowel

Terry L. Mowel, 42, of Napoleon, Ohio and formerly of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, in Oregon, Ohio. He was born in Port Clinton on November 18, 1980, to Terry L. and Rebecca L. (Gonya) Mowel. He was an accomplished construction worker his whole life and took great pride in his work.

Terry was a strong person who loved his family and showed them every day. He valued his relationships with those around him; it could be said that he “made you know, he loved you”! He was funny, his smile and laugh lit up the room the moment he walked in. Most people would describe him as being very talented, as he could fix anything. Terry was sports fan, supporting his Browns, the Indians, Cavaliers, and of course, the Buckeyes! He liked to go fishing when he had time, and the weather was good.

Terry is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Mowel, daughters, Kylie, Haylie, Aria and Adalynn Mowel, mother, Rebecca (Ronald) Moreno, siblings, Brian (Danielle) Johnson, Bradley (Frances) Johnson, Kevin Mowel, James (Angie) Mowel, Joseph (Alisha) Mowel, grandmother, Virginia Unhebaun, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Terry, grandmother, Grace Bledsoe, grandfather, Clayton Gonya, and aunt, Brenda Place.
