Terence Lee Kroeger

Terence Lee Kroeger, age 72, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Toledo Hospital. He was born on September 28, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio to Louis and Virginia (Piszchala) Lonzy. Terry spent his professional career in sales and thoroughly enjoyed being around people. He was always busy with projects or working a few days a week at Kohls or The Mortise & Tenon. Terry was passionate about his PT Cruiser and was a member of the Greater Toledo PT Cruiser Club. An avid gardener, he had a special touch with Christmas cacti. Terry had a kind heart, loved to cook, and enjoyed helping out his family and friends. He served his country in the US Army and was a former member of the American Legion in Elmore, Ohio. Terry is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughters, Kim (Jay) Bowling and Gina (Jeff) Scheff; grandchildren: Caitlin, Stephen, Lauren and Madilyn; former wife, Judith, and his sister. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his step-father, Henry Kroeger. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 12:00 noon. Interment will be private.
