Teodor J. Kwapich

Teodor J. Stretch Kwapich, age 85 of Toledo passed away Friday March 28, 2014 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 10, 1928 in Toledo to John and Mary Kasprzyk Kwapich. He attended Libbey and Macomber High Schools. An army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Przybylski Post 642 American Legion. Ted was employed at Doehler-Jarvis for 34 years retiring as Plating Foreman. He then worked for the State Liquor Department as a clerk for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing. golf, bowling and refinishing furniture. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers Steve and Florian Kwapich, he is survived by his wife of over 59 years, Beatrice; sons Paul Cindy and Todd Jeannette Kwapich; and grandchildren Justin, Dallas, Dylan and Emely Kwapich. Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Monday from 2-8 PM. Visitation will continue Tuesday after 9 AM in Christ the King Church where the funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM. Interment will be private.
