Tanya Rae Radtke

Tanya Rae Radtke, 40, of Green Springs, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, September 20, 2019, at Promedica Toledo Hospital. She was born June 19, 1979 in Fort Knox, Kentucky to Tom Tomczyk and Debra (Larson) Slagle.  Tanya was a dedicated QMA at Valley View Healthcare.  She loved her clients and co-workers.  She was a loving, compassionate, feisty southern girl who didnt take any crap from anyone.  Her personality was unlike anyones.  She made everyone feel loved and would do anything for you.  Tanya enjoyed reading, sewing, scary movies, and Walking Dead.  She also enjoyed her wine.  She enjoyed going to KISS concert with her brother Jason.  She was an Ohio State fan, even though her husband is a Michigan fan.  The playful banter between them was endless, they had a joking, loving relationship like no other.  They truly found their soul mates.  Tanya enjoyed going to the Amish with her friends, Jim and Janelle and spending time with the family, friends, and her grandchildren.  She enjoyed decorating for Christmas with her mother-in-law, Zella (Bea) Radtke. On June 22, 2013 Tanya married the love of her life, Ted Radtke; he survives. Also surviving Tanya is her children that she adored, Kevin Brigner, Fremont, OH, Cody (Hannah Perkins) Brigner, Waverly, OH, Chelsea (JR) Van Dyke, Clyde, OH, Austin Radtke, Clyde, OH, Dylan Radtke, Green Springs, OH, nieces: Hannah Drown, Clyde, OH, Jaeana Smith, Fremont, OH, Josie Tomczyk, Minnesota, nephew, Cash Smith, Fremont, OH, great nephew, Quest Parker, Clyde, OH.  She claimed her lifelong best friends kids as her own, Chaz Maggard, Piketon, OH, Michaella Maggard, Waverly, OH, Brittany Wright, Waverly, OH.  Tanya leaves behind two beautiful grandchildren, Koleman Van Dyke and Aaliah Rae Brigner.  Father, Tom Tomczyk, step-dad, Anthony Slagle, mother and father-in-law, Ted and Zella (Bea) Radtke, grandmother, Jerrine Larson, brothers, Jason (Christina) Tomczyk, Fremont, OH, Brandon Tomczyk, Maple Grove, Minnesota, Danny Slagle, Lucasville, OH, and Mark Slagle, Lucasville, OH.  Also, special lifelong friends, Chrissy Moore and Shawna Smith of Piketon, OH and many friends, aunt, uncles, and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Debra Slagle, grandfather, Ralph Larson, and brothers, Christopher Brigner and Matt Slagle. A Celebration of Life for Tanya will be conducted by Rick Perkins at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Camp Fire, 2100 Baker Rd., Fremont, OH 43420.  Memorial contributions in memory of Tanya may be given in care of the family.  Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor is assisting the family with arrangements.
