Tamam A. Hashem

Tamam A. Hashem, age 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 17, 2017 at Genesis of Sylvania. The daughter of Abdo and Matilda Moujhames, she was born in Lebanon on February 24, 1924 and came to the United States in 1986. She loved to read, write and recite poetry even in her final days. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edmund. Surviving are her children, Mahboub, Badre, Francois and Noha Hashem; and 11 grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9-11:00 AM at St. George Orthodox Cathedral 3754 Woodley Rd. Toledo, OH 43606 where services will follow at 11:00 AM Saturday. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
