MORRIS TAKEKO COOKIE Takeko Cookie Morris, beloved wife and sister was born on June 26, 1925 and passed away on January 4, 2010 from pulmonary complications after a long illness. She was born into a family with eight siblings in which she was the fourth oldest. Cookie is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Paul; one sister, Yuki Payne of Arlington, TX.; 2 brothers, Kiyoshi Yoshinaka of Cupertino, CA.and Jimmy Yoshinaka of Kent, WA.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cookie spent her formative years in the state of Washington, attending school in Connell and graduating from the University of Washington. She received her commission in the US Air Force where she met her husband, Paul and left the Air Force as a Captain. She then was an auditor with the City of Columbus and later the City of Toledo. There will be no visitation. Memorial services are pending at St. Josephs Church, Maumee and will be published at a later date The family suggests memorials to St. Josephs Church 104 W. Broadway, Maumee, Ohio 43537.
