Suzanne Stolar

Suzanne (Schroeder) Stolar, age 80 of Rossford, Ohio passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, January 13th, 2022. She was born on January 16th, 1941 and was the 3rd of 11 children. She was born to George and Betty (Dury) Schroeder of Fostoria. She met the love of her life, Edward Stolar in April of 1955 and they were married on June 25th, 1959. Together they shared 60 years of memories to cherish. Sue was a homemaker and together her and Ed had 5 children, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren with 2 on the way. She was very involved with her church, Friendly center and multiple other charities. She loved going to the movies, cooking, baking, cake decorating and animals. Family was of the utmost importance to her; she was selfless and stubborn with kindness.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Natalie (Dan Koziarski) Giovanoli, Anthony "Tony" (Darlene), Andre (Falon) and Alison Stolar. Grandchildren; Stephanie (Jason), Paul, Erica (Austin), Ian, Morgan, Teagyn (Michael), Taylor (Hunter), Drake and Ava. Great-grandchildren; Murphee, Wren E. With 2 on the way. Siblings; Linda (Ed) Bates, Charlotte Smolenski, Bette (Jim) Barber and James Akers. She also leaves behind her special friends and neighbors; Laura (Jim) Harris and Mimi Kish.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, love of her life and husband Edward, Son; Paul Edward Stolar, siblings; Marilyn, Ruth, Vivian, Janet, Danny and Victor.

Not a day goes by that she wasn't helping others. She loved to laugh, go out to eat and drink her margaritas. Sundays were a special day for her, not only for church but for Sunday dinners with family and her grandkids. The family would like to thank the staff of St. V's, St. Luke's and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their care given to Sue.

Family and Friends may visit at the Sujikowski-Walker funeral home, 830 Lime city rd, on Thursday, January 20th, 2022 from 2-8 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, January 21st, 2022 at 9am in the annex at the Rossford United Methodist Church, 270 Dixie Hwy Rossford, Ohio 43460. A funeral mass will immediately follow in the church beginning at 10am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family for final expenses.
