Suzanne J Sue Snider

Suzanne J. Sue Snider, age 78, of Toledo, passed away on Friday morning, May 23, 2014 with her loving family at her bedside. She was born May 27, 1935 in Toledo to the late Herbert and Mary Bayer Lusher. A graduate of Central Catholic High School, Sue was a devoted homemaker and mother. She was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church and in her free time enjoyed doing cross word puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sue was loving and hospitable and will also be fondly remembered for her sarcastic sense of humor. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 40 years, Thomas F. Snider; children, Christina Brian Green, Michael Heath, Cathy Michael Hughes, Gretchen Eddie Hawk and Jenny Keith Fahle; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and siblings, Barbara LeRoy Thoman and Don Lusher. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where a scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday with prayers at 9:15 a.m. and proceed to St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd., Toledo, for 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the church.
