Born on December 3, 1942, in New Albany, Indiana, Suzanne led a full and vibrant life, marked by professional excellence, artistic talent, and boundless curiosity about the world.

Suzanne dedicated her career to the field of healthcare, working as an EEG Technician at Toledo Hospital, where she served with distinction as the head of the lab for over 30 years. Her commitment to patient care and her leadership earned her the admiration of colleagues and the gratitude of countless families.

Outside of her professional life, Suzanne’s passions took her far and wide—literally. She was an avid traveler who explored the globe with joy and wonder, embarking on over 50 cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska, and traveling extensively throughout Europe. Whether on a ship deck or strolling through cobblestone streets, Suzanne embraced every journey with enthusiasm.

A woman of many talents, Suzanne was a gifted artist and craftswoman. Her needlepoint creations won awards at the county fair, showcasing her precision and artistic flair. She was a devoted member of the Dahlia Society, a lover of puzzles, and a skilled bridge player who delighted in the challenge of a good game. Her kitchen was another realm of mastery—renowned for her prime rib, hearty soups, and indulgent desserts, Suzanne’s meals were expressions of love and care.

To those who knew her, Suzanne was a warm and generous spirit—a loving wife, a devoted sister, and a cherished friend. Her kindness, humor, and zest for life will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

In celebrating Suzanne’s remarkable life, we honor her legacy of service, creativity, and adventure. She lived fully, loved deeply, and leaves behind memories as rich and enduring as the life she led.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John; sister, Cathy Robinson; niece and nephews, Debra Farnham, David (Kathy) Berndt, Donald Berndt, and Danyl Berndt. She was preceded in death by her parents.
