Suzanne Lohman

Suzanne Lohman, age 79, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on March 17, 2026. She was born on February 3, 1947, in Toledo to Henry and Mary (Cleary) Lohman.

Suzanne was a lifelong Toledo resident whose greatest joy in life was her family. She treasured each of them deeply and shared a special, enduring bond with her nieces and nephews. She doted on them throughout their childhoods, treating each of them as if they were her own children. To them, she was a steady and loving maternal presence, always watching over them with care and devotion. Her nieces and nephews will forever cherish the memories they shared and the unconditional love she gave so freely.

Suzanne had a creative spirit and was an exceptionally talented artist, creating many beautiful works that will remain a lasting part of her legacy. She also had a great love for musicals and found joy in the music, stories, and performances that brought people together. She especially loved being around children and took great delight in making the holidays magical, even dressing like Santa Claus each Christmas to create treasured memories for her family.

Selfless and thoughtful, Suzanne was always thinking of others and putting their needs before her own. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her siblings, Mary Hoyt and Henry (Saipin) Lohman Jr., and her beloved nieces and nephews, Julie (John) Kurtz, Brenda (Michael) Geremski, Joyce (Leilani) Robertson-Hoyt, Steve Bell, Linsey Lohman, and Jeremy Evans.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Lohman; her sister, Caroline (Ramon) Bell; and her brother-in-law, Lee Hoyt.

Suzanne will be cremated, and her family will celebrate her life privately.
