Suzanne Jurgens

Suzanne Spencer Jurgens, 79, of Perrysburg, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Suzy was born May 15, 1943 in Salem, Oregon to Seaver and Juanita (Miller) Spencer. She married Norman Jurgens in 1971 and was married for 35 years.

Suzy's father was a Colonel in the Army and grew up in a military family. She lived in the United States, Japan and Germany. She graduated from high school in Germany. She was proud of her military background. She worked in various accounting positions, retiring as an account manager from Huntington insurance. Suzy was an avid bridge player, seamstress, craft maker and traveler. Suzy adored her granddaughters and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Jenifer J. (Ryan) Michaels and granddaughters Shelby and Sydney. Suzy was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband, Norman and sister, Dianne Stump.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 601 E. Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 where a memorial service will begin at 11 a.m.  Burial will be private in Waco, Texas. Arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
