Suzanne A. Hoffman

Suzanne A. Hoffman, age 58, of Toledo passed away Wednesday December 14, 2011 surrounded by her family. Sue was a loving mother and grandmother and the caring wife of Tim Hoffman, who will greatly miss her special spirit. She was an eclectic woman who fought cancer with strength and determination. She was loved by many for her generous and courageous spirit and zest for life. She was born in Dunkurk, NY on March 12, 1953. She was a graduate of Oldenberg Academy and Owens Community College. She went on to work as an accountant, eventually creating her own tax preparation business. Additionally, Sue worked as an accounting associate at Redsson Inc in Toledo, a company which she thought of as a second family. Along with being a passionate and dedicated accountant, she considered her coworkers to be among the closest of her friends. She continued her work throughout her courageous battle with cancer, and will be greatly missed by those who marveled at her perseverance and unwillingness to give up. Sue is survived by Tim, her husband of 33 years, daughter Elizabeth, son Peter Andrea and granddaughter Ginny. Friends and family are invited to gather at Walker Funeral Home in Sylvania on Sunday from 1-3pm. A memorial service will begin at 3pm.
