Susanne Weigman

Susanne (Haubert) Weigman Susanne “Susie” Weigman, 87, of Fremont, is on her way home to God. She died peacefully July 13, 2017 while residing at the Sacred Heart Home of the Little Sisters of The Poor in Oregon Ohio. She was born in Fremont on October 31, 1929 to the late Ferd and Clara (Kehn) Haubert, and was a 1947 Graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Her Brothers James, David, and Joseph, and sisters-in-law Elinor (Rohr) Haubert and Carol (Neason) Haubert, also preceded her in death. Sister-in-law Kathleen (Rohr) Haubert, in Fremont survives. Susie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Also a life-long member of St. Ann Church, She served as an organist there until the birth of her fifth child in 1963. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1969, but being a talented pianist continued to play until recently. She remained faithful to her family and to her parish throughout life. She will be remembered for a smile that could light up a room and for her sweet disposition, even at times of adversity. Susie is survived by her husband, Albert Weigman, whom she married August 4th, 1951, and by their five children: Anne Strausbaugh of Norwalk, Martha (Michael) Horn of Fremont, Laura (William) Sutter of Huron, Reverend Joseph of Oregon and Thomas (Nan) of Sandusky. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren, Erich Strausbaugh and Sara Horn preceded her in death. Visitation will take place at the Sacred Heart Home, 930 S. Wynn Road Oregon on Monday July 17 2017 from 9:00-10:15 a.m The Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:30 am the Rev.
