Susan Kay Wilhelm

Susan Kay Wilhelm, 69, of Oak Harbor, died Friday afternoon, March 4, 2011, in H.B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, Ohio. She was born August 2, 1941, to James and Kathryn Schultz Taulker. On June 12, 1959, in St. John Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor, she married Rodney Wilhelm, Sr., who survives. Sue was a homemaker, who loved to sew and bake cakes. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor and a past member of the Epsilon Eta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Sorority. In addition to her husband, Susan is survived by her son, Robert E. Lisa Wilhelm, daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Wilhelm, grandsons, Rodney J. Wilhelm III, Ryan J. Wilhelm and Nathan Wilhelm, granddaughter, Nicole Wilhelm and sister JoAnn Jim Dornbusch. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her parents and son, Rodney John Wilhelm, Jr. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2011, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011, in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 122 W. Ottawa St., Oak Harbor, with interment to follow in Salem Township Union Cemetery. The family has suggested memorials to the American Lung Association or Donors choice.
