Susan E. Toneff-Carnicom, age 62, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born April 21, 1953 in Dearborn, MI to the late John and Lorraine (Kuzava) Speck. Susan married Bobby J. Carnicom, Jr. on April 24, 2002 in Toledo. A 1971 graduate of JFK High School in Taylor, MI, Susan was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and Foster Mother to many children in the Toledo area, including adopting her two beloved children. She also volunteered at The Toledo Hospital in the Neonatal Unit for many years, loved animals (especially her three dogs and two cats) and coloring with crayons. She will be remembered for her love of a good debate and for her strength that helped others to be better. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Bobby; children, Amy and Theodore Toneff; step children, Francis (Chrissy) Carnicom and Jessica (Keith) Krygielski; grandchildren, Lillian, Elliott, Xavier, Miles, Cecilia and Lucy; and sisters, Kathleen (James) Strother and Rosemary (John) Lences. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home , 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 10, 2016. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
