Susan Rice Nagel passed away in the arms of her husband Jeff and beloved daughter Kelsey on December 18 at their home after a courageous 6-year battle with cancer. Susan was born on December 16 to the late Robert & Janet Rice of Greenwich, Ohio. As a graduate of Bowling Green University, she spent her career working at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Susan will be remembered for her bright smile, generous heart, and competitive spirit. She was a devoted Christian and an active member of Hope United Methodist Church. She most enjoyed spending time with her family & friends, and had a lifelong passion for reading, traveling, playing sports, and card games. Her family will treasure each moment they shared with her. Susan leaves behind her husband Jeff Nagel, who brought her love and laughter; her daughter Kelsey Queenan, who she loved with her whole heart; her son-in-law Ryan Queenan, who she enjoyed swapping books with; her granddaughters Logan, Carlin, & Juliette, who brought her endless joy; her sister Jo Ann McCleery, who was her best friend; her nephew Bob McCleery who she loved like a son; her niece Kristi McCleery who always made her smile; her grandnieces Nora & Elle, who she adored; and her mother-in-Law Honey Nagel, who she loved deeply and could always count on. Proceeded in death by sister-in-law Jodi Nagel Parcher. A kind and loving soul, she will be missed by many. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
