Susan Dickinson Lowrey, 66, of Sylvania Township, died on August 23, 2016, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Robert P. and Marion L. Dickinson, on August 30, 1949, in Charleston, West Virginia. Susan graduated from Fairmont West High School, Kettering, Ohio, in 1967, received a BS in Education from the Ohio State University in 1971, a Master of Arts, from the University of Dayton in 2000, and a Doctor of Ministry from the Graduate Theological Foundation in 2008. She married C. Michael Lowrey in 1972 and they lived in Dayton/Kettering Ohio for twenty-eight years before moving to Toledo. Susan was a life-long Episcopalian. She enjoyed being with family and friends and entertaining in her home. Susan’s last request in life was to “Love Out Loud”. Susan is survived by her husband, Mike Lowrey; her son, Jonathan (Michelle) Lowrey of Columbus; and her daughter, Elizabeth (Al) Rebacz of Dundee, MI. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Anya Rebacz, her grandson, Robert Rebacz, and step-granddaughter, Eleanor Schroeder. There will be visitation at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., from 2-5 pm and again from 6:30-9 pm on Friday, August 26th. The funeral will be at Trinity Episcopal Church, 316 Adams Street, Toledo 43602 at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 27th. There will be a gathering before the funeral at noon. Instead of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity
