Susan C. Landon

Susan C. Landon, 53, of Catawba Island, passed away, Monday, January 03, 2011 at her residence. Susan was born on February 28, 1957 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Louis and Gertrude Borenstein Silverstein. On August 28, 1999 she married Kenneth R. Landon and he survives. Susan was the chairman C.E.O. of Design Marketing. She enjoyed many things in life; friends, gardening, knitting, shopping, fishing and traveling the world. But nothing compared to her love and passion for her family, she put her family above all else always making sure they were protected, provided for, and happy. Susan also gave her time to helping others. She worked with the mentally disabled, sat on numerous boards supporting Cystic Fibrosis and most recently organized a fundraiser for colon cancer awareness with partnership from the American Cancer Society. Susan will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Husband: Kenneth Randolph Landon; Son: Joshua Brian Mustachi; Daughter-in-Law: Adrienne Arkelian Mustachi; Nephew: Matthew Silverstein; Cousins: Merle Borenstein and Caren Kamlet. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Joel Silverstein and sister-in-law: Linda Landon. Visitation will be from 10-11AM, Wednesday, January 05, 2011 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by funeral services at 11:00AM conducted by Rabbi Estelle Gottman-Mills. Memorial contributions in memory of Susan, may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
