Susan M. Huskey

Susan M. Huskey, 51, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Tuesday, June 20, 2017at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Susan was born on January 10, 1966 in Canton, OH. On December 31, 2006 in Port Clinton, she married Jerry Scott Huskey and he survives. Susan worked as a respiratory therapist at Magruder Hospital for 22 years prior to her going on disability. She was a member of the V.F.W. Homer D. Gardner Post #2480 auxiliary, David W. Leonard Eagles Aerie #2295 and the Moose Lodge #1610. She enjoyed perch fishing, swimming and riding her Harley. Susan loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory are: Husband: Scott Huskey; Mother: Helen (Francis) Robel; Daughter: Kristy S. (Justin) Cross; Son: Jon (Amanda) Faretta; Grandchildren: Evalee V. & Elias L. Cross and Cali J. Faretta; Brothers: Larry Stevens, Edward (Cathy) Stevens and Ted (Marty) Stevens; Sisters: Mary (Tobi) Huebbe and many loving Nieces and Nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, father: Francis E. Stevens, sister: Cindy Hummel and brother: Ronald Stevens. Private services will be conducted. Memorial contributions in memory of Susan may be directed to Heartland Hospice. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH assisted the family with arrangements.
