Susan M. Freistuhler

Susan M. Freistuhler, 64, of Oak Harbor, Ohio died early Sunday morning, January 19, 2014 in Fremont Memorial Hospital. Susan was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 8, 1949 to William Sr. and Betty J. Good Vargo. She married Timothy L. Freistuhler in Oregon, Ohio on July 11, 1998 and he survives. Susan was a medical transcriptionist at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital in Oregon, Ohio, for over 20 years and had also worked at St. Lukes Hospital in Maumee, Ohio. Susan enjoyed working with ceramics, shopping, and the Christmas season, but her real passion in life was her nieces and nephews. She loved having them around, spoiling them every chance she had! Those special relationships will be missed. Survivors of Susan include her husband, Timothy, brother, William Barbara Vargo, sister, Mary Dave Krueger, nieces and nephews, Tracy Jon Buder, Ron Mari Vargo, Billy Vargo, Steve Wright and Timothy Wright, great nieces and nephews, Tyler Vargo, Natalie Vargo, Jenna Buder, Olivia Buder, Dannielle Vargo, and Christopher Vargo. She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service for Susan will be conducted at 11 AM, Thursday, January 23, 2014 in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St. Genoa, OH 43430. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 2-4 6-8 PM, Wednesday, January 22, 2014. The family suggests that memorials in Susans name be directed to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
