After a life filled with love and positive energy, Susan Elizabeth Doherty, age 64, of Sylvania, passed away on Friday evening, December 6, 2013 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born August 2, 1949 in Seattle, Washington to the late Guy and Natalie Cronin Raff. Susan graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors degree in business administration and worked for the U.S. government for 5 years in Germany. Upon her return home, she worked with Owens Corning for 10 years in product management. A very artistic lady with a keen eye for design, Susan started her own business, Fabrique, a decorative fabric store, which she operated for 15 years. In her free time she enjoyed golfing with the Toledo Golf Club, participating in Crossfit at Lifesport Fitness, cooking gourmet meals, and she cherished her daily lunches out with her husband. Susan will be lovingly remembered for her outgoing, gregarious personality and for the charitable nature with which she lived. She possessed an inherent joy that was infectious and will be dearly missed. Surviving are her loving husband, Doug; step daughters, Anastacia Terry Leach, Jennifer Osterwalder and Rebecca Patrick Livingston; and grandchildren, Clark and Haley Leach, Katja and RJ Osterwalder, Connor and Nicholas Livingston. Services and interment will be private. Memorial contributions in Susans name are suggested to Central Catholic Scholarship Fund, 2550 Cherry Street, Toledo, OH 43608.
