Sue Hinton

October 29, 1952 — September 20, 2025

Sue Hinton, 72, of Toledo, passed away on September 20, 2025. She was born October 29, 1952, in Toledo to Robert C. and Opal M. (Fultz) Hinton.

Sue graduated from Whitmer High School in 1970 and worked for many years at Libbey Glass as an auditor, retiring in 2015.

She loved old school rock and roll. Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath were her favorites. Sue was also a lifelong Buckeyes fan. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, shopping on QVC, going to the movies, and playing cards. Sue was also an artist who liked to keep her hands busy.

These were just some of the many things Sue enjoyed throughout her life. But what was most important to her was her family. She loved them dearly, especially her grandchildren. Sue had a big, loving heart. She gave freely to others, even when it seemed she had nothing left to give. Sue found joy in the simple things in life, and she leaves that joy to her family.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Bobbie (John) Szabo. She is survived by her sons, Paul (Brandi) Strzesynski, and Jason (Stacey) Strzesynski; grandchildren, Amber, Jason Jr, Maddie, and Logan; sisters, Jeanette (Bill) Burbank, and Carolyn (Ralph †) Lewandowski; and lifelong friend, Linda Cook.

Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
