Stuart J. Mills, Jr.

Stuart J. Mills, Jr. age 91 of Toledo passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 in the Manor of Perrysburg where he was a resident the last four and a half years. He was born August 12, 1922 in Lakewood, Ohio to Stuart and Viette Mills. An army veteran of World War II, he graduated from the former Case Institute of Technology, now Case Western Reserve with a degree in mechanical engineering. Stuart was an engineer for several companies and retired from AP Parts in 1977. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Alice Mills; twin sister Lorelei Widener; and younger sister Winifred OBrien. Surviving are sons Scott Mary Mills and Jerry Mills; and grandchildren John, Ian and Anne Mills. There will be no visitation and services will be private. The family suggests memorials to the Residents Activities Fund of the Manor of Perrysburg, 250 Manor Dr. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551. The family would also like to thank the nurses and staff of the Manor of Perrysburg for their care and support of Stuie the last four and a half years.
