Steven L. Taylor

Steven L. Taylor, age 43, passed away suddenly Saturday November 15, 2014.  He was born September 1, 1971 in Toledo.  He was a graduate of Whitmer High School and earned his Bachelor degree from the University of Toledo in Electrical Engineering Technology.  He worked for Southeastern Corp. in Bowling Green, OH.  Steves love for the outdoors fueled his passion for fishing, dirt bike adventures, skeet shooting and spending time with friends around the fire pit.  Steve will be remembered most for his ability to use his hands.  He could fix or put anything together with or without instructions.  He was the guy to have around at Christmas, because he loved putting all the kids new toys together. He will be missed by his loving parents, Denny Coe Taylor and Shirley Taylor; brother, Scott Coe (Diane) Taylor of Cortland, OH; nephew and niece, Drew and Brooke; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special friend Wendy; and his dogs, Kdub and Spencer.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alice and Chuck Brach Dewey and Inez Meadows. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 3-8 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd) with a scripture service at 7:00 PM.  Services will begin with prayers at the funeral at 9:15 AM followed by Mass of the Resurrection at St. Clements Catholic Church at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 4041 W.
