Steven Slusarski

Steven Slusarski, 75, passed away on December 19, 2025 in Perrysburg, OH, after a valiant fight against colorectal cancer.

Steven was born in Saginaw, MI to Dale and Leona Slusarski. He grew up in Maumee and was a 1968 graduate of Maumee High School. Steven's best and happiest life choice was his marriage to Sharon on May 6, 1973 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Steven worked in the outdoor sporting goods industry for many years, owning a small business and making many friends through his business ventures. However, the hallmark of his life was his love for his girls: Sharon, daughter Andrea, and granddaughter Charlotte. Their times together were filled with many dad jokes and laughter, often to the point of tears. Steven endured many years as a Detroit Tigers fan, and he had a strong passion for history and trips to the grocery store. Steven will always be remembered for his patience, kindness, strength, and sense of humor

Steven is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sharon, daughter Andrea (Adam) Motycka, granddaughter Charlotte, brothers Peter Slusarski, John Stanley, Tony Slusarski, and niece Linda Slusarski.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Leona Slusarski, and niece Kathleen.

Friends will be received at Maison-Dardenne- Walker Funeral Home, Maumee (501 Conant St.) on Tuesday December 23, 2025 from Noon until the time of Services at 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Steven's name to the Toledo Lucas County Public Library's "Ready to Read" early literacy program.
