Steven Paul Shank

Steven Paul Shank, 61, of Toledo, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo, surrounded by his loving family. Steve was born in Toledo to Frederick and Joyce (Lindell) Shank on July 9, 1955. He attended Larc Lane School and worked for Lott Industries and Plate 21. Steve was known for his great sense of humor. He enjoyed weekends at Camp Courageous, attending church services, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Joyce, brother, Tom (Laura) Shank; sister, Sandy (Mark) Spang; nephews, Martin Shank, Keith Shank, Ben Spang, Eli Spang; niece, Lily Spang; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred. Friends will be received on Monday, June 26, 2017 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) with a Funeral Service starting at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. After the burial, a Memorial Service and continued fellowship will take place beginning at 2:30 P.M. at Sunshine Spiritual Life Center, 7223 Maumee-Western Road, Maumee, OH 43537.
