Steven J. Murray

Steven J. Murray, age 46, of Perrysburg, died February 3, 2016. Steve was born November 10, 1969 in Toledo to John D. and Audrey (Harder) Murray. He was a former employee at Heidelberg Distributing and had previously worked at the Albon Inn Again. Steve loved football, especially watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a proud father and enjoyed spending time with his friends. Survivors include his mother; daughters, Marissa and Megan Murray; friend and former wife, Judy Murray; brother, David Murray (Renee); and nephews, Anthony and Alec Murray. He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Lois Nagel; and grandparents, Raymond and Martha Harder, John and Gertrude Murray and Robert and Mildred Metz. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where the family will receive guests beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Memorials may be made towards a brick in Steve’s name to be placed at The Ohio State University or to a charity of the donors choice.
