Steven Karakas

Steven Karakas, age 67, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, September 12, 2009. Born on September 27, 1941 in Budapest, Hungary to Charles and Margaret Karakas, Steve served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Steve also enjoyed working, he was a great salesman and an avid golfer who shot two holes in one. He is survived by his wife, Isabelle; sons, David Charity and Adam Emily; two brothers and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister. There will be no visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family suggests contributions be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to the ty of the donors choice.
