Steven Alburn Hosko, 35, a lifelong resident of Port Clinton, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, May 12, 2016. Steven was born on July 21, 1980 in Sandusky, the son of Sandy & Rick Hosko. He was a 1998 graduate of Port Clinton High School and went on to study computer technology with Kaplan University. He was a lover of life and his family. He enjoyed deer hunting with his father, fishing, football, racing and classic cars. Steven loved animals, especially his cat, Opal, his little buddy. He had a thirst for knowledge; history, science, coins, astronomy, just about anything. Steven had a wide array of interests, right down to cooking and gardening. He had a big heart and would help anyone he could. Steven was a religious person who loved Christmas. He was the life of any gathering and could cause side splitting humor. But he was also the shoulder to cry on, and could give hugs to take your pain away. Survivors are: Mother & Father: Sandy & Rick Hosko of Port Clinton, OH; “Kid” Sister: Kandice Hosko of Columbus, OH; Cats: Sybil Niece-dog: Scarlett; Grandmother: Angie Beaver, and many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & Friends.Steven was preceded in death by his grandparents: Alburn Hosko, Geraldine Hosko & Edward Beaver, uncle: David Beaver and Cousin: Michael Beaver. Visitation will be 3-5PM, Friday, June 03, 2016 at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by a Memorial Service at 5:00PM.
