Steven Auxter

Steven Edward Auxter, born April 6th 1983 passed peacefully at 6:00pm August 20, 2018 on Saint Stephen’s day. Steven was preceded in death by his grandparents Dorothy (Boo) Trinchard and Tommy Dreyfus, Donald and Juanita Auxter. He is survived by his mother Katie Beth Burton, father Steve Auxter, his beloved aunts, uncles and cousins and scores of friends. Steven was an accomplished Chef with numerous achievements in the culinary community. He was instrumental in the opening and sustainment of multiple dining establishments. He was known as a Chef who cared deeply for his staff. His cooking came from his heart and was enjoyed by all. Steven touched many lives in his brief time on earth. He had a caring soul that was never empty of love for another person. In his final years, Steven devoted his life to saving the world through love. He took care of the ones who needed it the most. The many people Steven touched are his legacy that will live on for years to come. In the end, Steven’s final quest to help others was accomplished by the donation of his surviving organs so that others may live. There is no truer example of how he lived his life than this final act, selfless and wanting others to be saved. There will be a memorial service and reception at CedarCreek Church, 29129 Lime City Road, Perrysburg, OH 43551 on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 7 PM. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be provided to Toy for Tots. A celebratory concert in memory of Steven will be held in Toledo at a date to be determined.
