Steve Harry Harrison

Steve “Harry” Harrison, 64, of Marblehead, OH, passed away, Sunday, July 23, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH, following a brief illness. Steve was born on February 25, 1953, in Toledo, OH the son of Alfred K. and Mary J. (Brackney) Harrison. Steve was the owner/operator of The Catawba Canvas Co., since 1985, a craft he learned early from his father and he continued the family tradition with passion and perfectionalism. He was a hardworking gentleman, who loved boating and was always the life of the party. Steve loved his family, his children and especially his grandson. He was a person that contained multitudes. Those left to cherish his memory are: Children: Heather (Christopher) Chamberlain, Andrew J. Harrison and Patrick Harrison; Grandson: Vash Moyer; Partner: Marsha Rauch-Bennett; Spouse: Linda Harrison; Sister: Shelley (Tom) Yost; Brothers: Jon (Sue) Harrison and Shawn (Angel) Harrison. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Tim Harrison. A Celebration of Steve’s Life is being planned for September. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Ottawa County Humane Society, 2424 E. Sand Rd., Port Clinton, OH 43452. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH has assisted the family with arrangements.
