Stephen Ray Strausbaugh

Stephen Ray Strausbaugh, age 75, of Oak Harbor, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Riverview Health Care Campus in Oak Harbor. He was born on January 2, 1948 in Fostoria, Ohio to Ray Milton and Juanita (Bates) Strausbaugh. Stephen graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1966 and later earned his Bachelor of Business Degree from Capitol University. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he was stationed in Okinawa, Japan during the Vietnam War.

Stephen worked for Sprint Williams Communications and later went on to set up Strausbaugh Electronics, where they sold satellite dishes. He was very talented drawing, liked tinkering with all different types of things and really enjoyed his sweets and cigars.

Stephen is survived by his children, Rachel (Bill) Dickey, Steve (Nichole) Strausbaugh and Brooke (Jason) Sandwisch; grandchildren, Logan, Amelia and Garrison Strausbaugh and Kaytlynn, Myley and Jacob Sandwisch; siblings, Jerry (Peggy) Strauss, Randy Strausbaugh, Tom (Jessele) Strausbaugh, Greg (Jolene) Strausbaugh, Mark (Lois) Strausbaugh and Karen Nehls. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Susan.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home , 165 East Water Street, Oak Harbor. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 22, 2023 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Rusha Cemetery.
