Stephen Anthony Magrum

Stephen A. Magrum, 71, of Curtice, Ohio, died Thursday, November 11, 2020 at the Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, Ohio. He was born in Fremont, Ohio on June 25, 1949 to Carl A. and Betty L. (Roth) Magrum. He married Gale S. (Lenz) in Williston, Ohio on June 30, 1972 and she preceded him in death September 3, 2009. Steve retired from GM-Powertrain in 1998 after 30 years of service. During his retirement he enjoyed golfing with his family, helping family and friends farm and having coffee with the "Goonie" bunch at McDonalds. Steve also enjoyed driving his Corvette and bowling in a number of leagues over the years. He was a longtime member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Martin, OH. Steve is survived by his daughters, Kimberly (Ryan) Lacer, Kendra (Kerry) Keppler, Kelli (Jamie) Lacer, Kara Magrum, grandchildren, Trenton (Tori) Lacer, Kelsey Lacer, Hunter Lacer and Tristan Lacer, great-granddaughter, Teegan Lacer, brother, Mark (Jean) Magrum and sister-in-law, Debra Wilburn. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, Ronald Magrum, sister, Theresa Armstrong and sister-in-law, Eileen Magrum. A graveside service for Steve will be conducted at 11 AM, Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Elliston Cemetery, Elliston, Ohio. The family asks for all to dress very casual as that is what Steve would have wanted – “no monkey suits!” Please wear a mask and adhere to social distancing.
