Stephen “Steve L. Kokocinski, 84, of Holland, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February, 13, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 17, 1931 in Holland to Louis Stanley and Stefania Lucy (Morkowski) Kokocinski and he married Nancy C. Lazar on June 10, 1972. Steve was a 1949 graduate of Springfield High School and following graduation proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a mechanic during his time with the military and after his discharge continued working as an automotive mechanic in the area. He most recently worked for Kisler Ford before retiring in 1991. Steve enjoyed working in the yard and tending to his garden. He also loved and collected antique cars and train set models. Steve is survived by his wife, Nancy C. Kokocinski; children, Michael Steven (Pamela) Kokocinski, Jerry Lee Wallace, Terry Lee Wallace and Gary A. (Lori) Wallace; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by Louis and Stefania (parents), Joseph Louis Wallace (son), Stephen L. Wallace (grandson) and Virginia Langenderfer (sister). Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland Ohio 43551 (419-865-8879). Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
