Stephanie R. Thomas

Stephanie R. Thomas, age 88, passed away peacefully after a short illness on January 4, 2019 at Kingston of Sylvania. She was born November 3, 1930 in Toledo to the late Michael and Tillie (Kupiec) Moskala. Stephanie married the love of her life Robert J. Thomas on April 29, 1950 and he preceded her in death in 1997. She spent many years as a seamstress and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Stephanie enjoyed working in her yard, bingo and trips to the casino. Stephanie is survived by her children, Susan Thomas, Daniel (Shelly), Michael (Carol) and Janine Arman; grandchildren, Sarah (Scott) Sonnenberg, Robert Thomas, Christopher Thomas, Alison Thomas, Anthony (Emily) Thomas, Kristi Hoffman (Brock Freeworth), Jennifer (Ryan) Murdock and Emily (Jacob) Greear; three precious great-granddaughters, Ryleigh May Williams, Ella Rose Sonnenberg and Madison May Greear; and brother, Richard Moskala. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, Joseph Moskala; and sister, Evelyn Saurin. Family and friends are invited to visit the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be private.
