Stephanie Anne Heringhaus, age 42, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 4, 2024 after a brief but very courageous battle with cancer.
Stephanie was born on May 26, 1982 to William and Marlene (Miller) Heringhaus of Toledo, Ohio. A 2004 graduate of the University of Dayton, Stephanie spent the past 18 years of her career working at Nestlè USA where she served in a variety of sales and marketing roles that led to her living in multiple cities throughout Ohio and Indiana.
Stephanie’s passions included spending time with family and friends, especially spoiling her niece and nephew in Florida. She loved photography, traveling, baking sweet treats, and volunteering. Stephanie was known for having a heart of gold and always loved doing things for other people. Her kindness and compassion for others made an impact on everyone she met.
She is survived by her mother, Marlene (Miller) Heringhaus; siblings Craig (Brianna) Heringhaus and Ashley (Joseph) Siedlak; niece Brinley Heringhaus and nephew Parker Heringhaus; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her father, William Heringhaus; Grandparents Robert and Alma (Gulker) Heringhaus, Alfred and Marcella (Kahle) Miller; Uncles Thomas Heringhaus, Don and Aunt Mary Jane (Heringhaus) Schmenk, Gus Heringhaus, Allen Heringhaus, Bernard Heringhaus (Godfather), and cousin Andrew Altenburger.
Family and friends may visit at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH 43623 on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 2:00 to 8:00 PM. Services will begin on Monday, November 11, 2024, with prayers at 9:45 AM at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at Christ the King Church, 4100 Harvest Lane, Toledo, OH 43623 at 10:30 AM.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all of the nurses and doctors at The James Cancer Hospital at Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing an expression of sympathy in Stephanie’s memory are asked to consider a donation to The James Cancer Hospital at Ohio State University or Notre Dame Academy in Toledo, OH.
