Stefania M. Romaker

Stefania M. Romaker, age 94, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at St. Lukes Hospital, Maumee. She was born in Swanton, Ohio on November 1, 1924 to Stanley and Teofila (Sekula) Smiczek. Stefania worked for Seaway Foodtown and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maumee, Ohio. She enjoyed fishing, bowling and walking with friends Stefania is survived by her loving husband of 75 years, Edward; children, William (Vickie) Romaker, John (Jeni) Romaker and Linda (Bob) Rocco; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and sister, Adele Collins. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio. Prayers will begin at 10:00 am in the funeral home on Saturday, January 5, 2019 with the funeral mass to follow at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee, Ohio. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association.
