It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Stan Zbierajewski, of Maumee, Ohio. Stan left this world peacefully and in the comfort of his home on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the age of 71 years. The departure of our beloved husband, father, brother, Dziaj, and friend leaves an immense void for us all.
Stan grew up in Toledo, Ohio and attended Macomber High School. He was employed by Ford Motor Company at the Maumee Stamping Plant as a plant superintendent for over 30 years, until he retired. When he was not at work, Stan enjoyed traveling and golfing with his wife, fishing, bowling, Ohio sports, listening to music, and playing marathon card tournaments with family. Stan was a charismatic, handsome man who was often referred to as a Tom Selleck look-alike. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humor, love of a good bourbon, his devotion to his family, and his support of their various interests.
Preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Clara (Nowak), and siblings Bernadine Harp (Norm,) David (Karen,) John, and Kathy Harp (Tom). Stan leaves behind a large, loving family. His wife Irene; brother, Frank (Helen); daughters, Janel Spychala (Mark), Lisa Babka (Brandon), Nicki Ruswinkle (Todd); grandchildren, Kelsey Guilliam (Torry), Maya, Tyler, Zachary, Kaitlyn, and Adam; great-grandchildren, Harper, Azalea; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends will all miss him dearly.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street Maumee, Ohio from 1 pm-4 pm, with a service to follow from 4 pm-5 pm. Burial will be private.
