Solomon Jackson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Solomon Willie Jackson, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. Born on May 28, 1956, in Whitehouse, Ohio, Solomon peacefully departed from this life on December 26, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio, at the age of 69,

Solomon dedicated many years of his life to the craft of roofing as a journeyman for Nordman Roofing, demonstrating a strong work ethic that was matched only by his kindness toward others. Solomon was a pillar of strength and support in the lives of his family and friends, always ready with a helping hand or a listening ear.

He is survived by his loving wife, Louise Jackson, and his children, Richard, Robert, Sean, Chavina, Torice, Chaquey, Chaz, and Selena Clark. He also leaves behind his sons, Rubin Clark and Lewis (Alice) Legree, as well as his siblings: James Jackson, Denise (Darrell) Brown, Jacqueline Jackson, Renay Legree, and Delores (Kirk) Colely. Solomon's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Solomon was preceded in death by: Fred Green, Ophella Jackson, Earl Williams, his sister, Tammy Lagree, his father who raised him, Edward Lagree and his son, Earl Williams.

Friends will be received at walker Funeral Home, Oregon, OH (3500 Navarre Ave.) on Saturday January 10, 2026 from 3-6 PM where Services will be held on Sunday at 1 PM.
