Shuzhen Zhou

Shuzhen Zhou, 84, of Toledo, OH passed away on July 2, 2023 at the Lakes of Sylvania. She was born in Jangsu, China on September 6, 1938 to Shaoqing and Zhuying Jiang and she married Zuxiang Li.

Shuzhen graduated from college in 1954 and worked as a civil engineer while in China. She enjoyed cooking, reading and traveling. Shuzhen loved dessert and Chinese food. Her family will miss the Chinese dishes she would prepare for them. Shuzhen was never one to give up and always encouraged her family to pursue the highest education.

Shuzhen is survived by her loving husband, Zuxiang Li; son, Bing Li; daughter, Qun Roessle; grandsons, Kyle and Jason; granddaughters, Jennifer, Jessica and Krista.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623. Visitation will continue on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
