Shirley A Shinn

Shirley A. Shinn, 83, of Rossford, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Merit House. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 3, 1940 to Berman Ryas and Dorothy (Swiger) Wamer. Shirley married Floyd Shinn, they have shared 36 wonderful years together.

Shirley retired from Rossford Public Library, she also worked for Gerrards Grocery Store. She loved being outdoors and was an avid bird watcher. She loved fried chicken and watching Gunsmoke. Her greatest joys in life were her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Survived by husband Floyd Shinn, Daughter Kathleen (Jim Peer) Kanfield-Pelow, Daughter-in-law Jan Martin, Stepson Troy (Theresa) Shinn, Grandchildren Jeremy (Cassandra) Upton, Jacqueline Pelow and Issac, Noah and Emma Shinn. Great Grandchildren, Brooklynn, Riley, Audrey, and Anthony. Siblings Audrey (Jim) Cordell, Richard Wamer, Karen Mead, Art (Peg) Wamer, Duane (Nancy) Spring. Preceded in death by father Berman Ryas Wamer, mother Dorothy Spring, children Rex Martin and Barbara Kanfield, and brother Paul Wamer

Friends will be received at Sujkowski Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Rd, Rossford (419-666-1566) on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM with a memorial service at 4:00 PM.
