Shirley I. Schmardebeck

Shirley I. Schmardebeck, 80, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH. She was born on May 10, 1928 in Blountville, TN, the daughter of Amos and Jesse Humphrys Netherland. On October 18, 1946 in Port Clinton, OH, she married Willard Bill Schmardebeck and he survives. Shirley retired from Port Clinton City Schools as a school bus driver after over 20 years. She was a member of the Port Clinton Bible Methodist Church. Shirley will be greatly missed by her loving friends and family. Survivors include: Loving Husband of 62 years: Willard Bill Schmardebeck of Port Clinton, OH; Son: William Barbara Schmardebeck of Lexington, NC; Daughters: Brenda Frank Seymour of Port Clinton, OH, Betty Sonnie Lehman of Milford, PA and Bonnie Keith Hartlaub of Port Clinton, OH; 10 Grandchildren; 20 Great-Grandchildren and sister: Joyce Ropers of Danbury, OH. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, grandson: Tracy Seymour, brothers: Harry Netherland, Charles Netherland and Amos Netherland Jr. Funeral Service will be conducted by Reverend Deron Fourman at 2:00PM, Friday, November 07, 2008, at the Port Clinton Bible Methodist Church, 1502 E. Second St., Port Clinton, OH. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
