Shirley A. Rollins Risner, 76, of Elmore, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012, in Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. Shirley was born February 7, 1936, in Genoa, Ohio, to Ralph C. and Mary L. McCoil Rollins. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Genoa and had worked at Berdaray Corp. in Toledo and Prima Baking in Genoa. Shirley was a sports fan, loved football, playing pool, and especially loved watching baseball, particularly the Cleveland Indians and the Atlanta Braves. Her survivors include her sons, John McGuire of Toledo and Donald Cook both of Toledo, daughters, Kathy McGuire and Kimberly Morris both of Toledo, and Terri Cook of Tennessee, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and sister, Sandra Mario Ortiz, of Toledo. Her parents and husband, Bill Risner, preceded her in death. Visitation will be 12-3 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2012, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, with the memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be private in Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials for Shirley to Trinity United Methodist Church, 313 Main St., Genoa, OH 43430; or the American Heart Association, 1701 Woodlands Dr. Suite 200, Maumee, OH 43537.
