Shirley J. Retzlaff

Shirley J. Non Retzlaff, age 83, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the Goerlich Center. She was born June 3, 1932 in Toledo to Kelcy and Lee Anne Monday. She was a graduate of Swanton High School. Shirley was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting and crochet, couponing, camping and western style square dancing, often traveling with square dance clubs. Shirley is survived by her husband of 63 years, Arnold Retzlaff, son Tim (Cathy) Retzlaff, daughter-in-law, Karen Retzlaff, grandchildren, Laurie (Rob) McClellan, Ryan (Lauren), Rob (Blythe), Tim (Jillian), and Kelsey, sister Peggy Daugherty, sister-in-law Wilma Monday, and 6 great grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Bob, brother Dale Monday, and brother-in-law Jack Daugherty. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 2-8 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd). Funeral services will held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 14, 2015. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
