Shirley L. Henry-Castner, 77, of Bowling Green, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Greenville, South Carolina to Troy and Mary (Priennie) McCartney on October 11, 1940. She was a member of Christ Bible Church in Dunbridge, Ohio and enjoyed spending time with her family. Shirley is survived by her loving husband, David Castner; sister, Jerri Maggar; children, Karen (David) Laudenslager, Shelly (Richard) Castner, Ginni (Mike) Babcock, Penny Hamilton, Paul (Kim) Castner-Henry, Brandy (Drew) Bowerman, Daniel Castner; grandchildren, Jason, Melissa, Damion, Tommy, Mike, Nick, Joshua, Patrick, Paul Jr., Katy, Caroline, Tyler, Anthony, Chase, Karissa, James Michael, Wesley Eugene; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Wyatt, Blair, Bradley, Blaze, Bryson, Bentley, Braxton, Olivia, Bailey, Sage, Liam, Rory, Paul, Joshua, Lynn, Misty, Allen, Luke, Canaan, Aisleigh, Emmy, Elijah, Caleb, Kalbie, Ellie, Paul Michael, Portia, Talia, Evelynn; many nieces and nephews; and her long-haired rescue dog, Precious. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Irene, Truman, Wanda, Glenda, Caroline, Larry, Connie, Alice, Janie Lou; granddaughters, Trisha Louise and Jamie Lynn. Friends will be received on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions in Shirley’s name may be made to the family.
