Shirley Ann English

Shirley Babcock English, age 92, of Toledo, died at home Friday, October 4, 2013. She was born on September 18, 1921 in Lorain, Ohio. She is survived by daughters Susan Dollinger and Mary Morton, son-in-law Wayne Bonekemper, grandchildren Karen Dollinger, Jeffrey Dollinger, Christine Tomten, David English, Jeremy Morton, Sara Dollinger Sheets, Abigail Smith, Frankie English, eleven great-grandchildren, one niece and three nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Irene Babcock, sister Nancy Rohner, and son David English. She served in the Womens Army Corps in France and England during World War II, and taught for many years at Monclova Elementary School. She will be greatly missed.
