Shirley Mae Brown

Shirley Mae Oliger Brown, age 83, of Toledo passed away on June 22,2018 with loving family by her side. She was born on January 22, 1935 to Mabel Oliger. Shirley was a homemaker who raised two children, enjoyed watching movies, and having conversations with friends and family. She was proudly married to James H. Brown for 49 years and he preceded her in death in 2003. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Susan (Douglas) Mathews; son, David (CoAnn) Brown; grandchildren, Crystal (Joe) Norton, Dustin (Jennifer) Mathews, Chris Brown; great grandchild, Ariel Mathews; and sister, Jerrie Carr. Shirley was preceded in death by her mother; brother, Robert Oliger; sisters, Beatrice Oliger, Lucille Hoffman, and Hazel Pollack. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:30 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2018 and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018 in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.).
