Shirley J. Courtney Bodi

Shirley J. Bodi, 81, of Walbridge, OH, passed away on December 12, 2017 at Regency Hospital. Shirley was born on September 17, 1936 in Arlington, KY to Jasper and Beatrice (Vance) Courtney. She was employed with the Ohio Department of Human Services as a supervisor retiring in 1987. Shirley enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family, especially on the holidays. Shirley is survived by her daughters, Debra (Ivory) Jackson and Sandra Samples; grandchildren, Chinnon Jaquay, Tionna and Brandon Jackson, Jason and Christopher Billheimer; great-grandchildren, Makayla Jaquay, Jayden McKissic, Jacob and Addison Billheimer; sisters, Wanda Adlington, Patricia (Richard) Sowle, Betty Quen and Karen (Mike) Gould; brother, Ken (Debbie) Wagner; very special dog, Bailey; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Family and friends may visit at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 West Sylvania Ave. on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 4 until 8 p.m..
